The Home Owner Protection Office (HPO) has released an illustrated guide to the New BC Building Code Energy Requirements. We work with our designers and clients to ensure the energy efficiency requirements are met and that clients have the information to select the envelope system that provides the optimal level of energy efficiency for their project. Energy efficiency measures need to be considered along with durability and payback period. Many of our high-efficiency wall systems exceed the code requirements and through integration with other structural elements (e.g. timbers) and envelope components (e.g. wood fibre insulation) provide long-term durability. Please see the full document here: May 2014 Building Code Energy Updates from HPO
